Emily Murray is the new principal at FFC8 Preschool at Weikel!

Emily Murray, a Texas native, earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of Texas before dedicating eight years to teaching various grade levels, including 1st, 3rd, and 4th grades. She furthered her education with a master's degree in Instructional Design and pursued administrative licensure with a focus on leadership from Western Colorado University.

Now, in her second year of administration in FFC8, Murray is committed to fostering an engaging and supportive environment for preschool students.

Emily has a profound connection to the military, shaped by her own family's years of active duty service. This personal experience has instilled in her a deep commitment to supporting military families and helping navigate the challenges faced by military families.

Emily says, “My educational philosophy for preschool is rooted in the belief that every young learner deserves an environment that is both engaging and supportive. We face the most important task of laying a strong foundation that not only nurtures their initial curiosity but also fosters a love of learning that will sustain them throughout their educational journey. We want all our Preschool Pups to love coming to Weikel!"
