2024-2025 Preschool Enrollment

4 Year Olds:  4-year olds can receive 15 hours per week of free preschool.  To qualify for this, children must be 4 by October 1, 2024.   

3 Year Olds:  3-year olds with at least one qualifying factor are eligible for 10 free hours of preschool per week. 

3-Year-Old Qualifying Factors include:

• Household income below 270% for the 2023 federal poverty guidelines
• Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Homelessness
• Dual language learner
• Foster/Kinship care

2023 Federal Poverty Guidelines-270% 

The district offers 2 full day preschool classrooms, one on Fort Carson and one in Fountain for qualifying 4-year olds. 

Eligibility requirements for Full Day:

• Children must be 4 by October 1, 2024
•  Family must meet income requirements (household income below 270% of the 2024 federal poverty guidelines) AND child must have one additional qualifying factor

4-Year-Old Additional Qualifying Factors include:

• Individualized Education Program (IEP)
• Homelessness
• Dual language learner
• Foster/Kinship care
• Household income at or below 100% of federal poverty guidelines (this is an additional qualifying factor for 4-year-old Full Day Preschool)
